They had to trade him. It was unsustainable to keep him long term and they played themselves in the short term letting his name float around in rumors. Its the return that looks funny.
 
Lol they were better off asking for Embiid. Cs might have closed their window. I give it 2 years before Tatum get traded.
 
Like for this not to be one of the worst trades in nba history they half to teleport rookie LeBron and draft him because your not going to draft a rookie that will relative close to Jaylen brown to help Tatum anytime soon
