I don't know how any of this could be boring. Shit is getting more and more ridiculous every episode.

The show is dramatically funnier this season than the last two combined

Armand having to read apology letters to Daniel and Lestat is 10/10 funny bcuz neither of them tryna hear that shit and they both roasted him ridiculously.

So I've seen a lotta hot takes on Regina, people tryna tie her in to other characters and other books. And I'm like no.

It's exactly what Asian shorty said.

Louis always paying people to listen to his pain.

He paid Miss Lilly
He paid Daniel twice
Now he paying Regina..
. He just needs someone to listen to his hurt and guilt and grief.

Think about that prayer in season 1 episode 1 right before Lestat changed him. That's always going to be who Louis is. He described himself perfectly. He's always going to use people to make himself feel better

Jacob and Delaney did all the heavy lifting season 2.

Their characters really aren't in the next 4-5 books . They could've EASILY been left behind.... But instead we get this AMC fanfiction. And librarian chick says it perfect.... It's a slow motion trainwreck... And I'm personally loving it

Yeah I’m not that far I heard someone say in a group she may possibly be Merrick. Who is that?

Merrick

Yeah Merrick is book 7....

. In book fucking 7, after 6 books with NO CLAUDIA, very limited Louis... In book 7 we finally get a Louis/Claudia story... In that book, Louis is struggling with grief over Claudia, and David takes him to Merrick. . A black Mayfair witch who works for the Talamasca, who David has been sexually infatuated with since she was like 13.. who can commit spirits....

She conjures Claudia for Louis... Claudia cusses Louis out.. he gets extra depressed, and tries to kill himself again

All the ancient vampires intervene...force feed Louis their blood so he essentially can't be burned by sunlight... because Lestat was in a depression coma, and everyone recognized that if Lestat woke up from his coma and Louis was dead... It would be essentially the equivalent of the Akasha situation.. so they decided to make Louis truly immortal...
. But I HIGHLY doubt that the TV show does that thru Regina

I think they just don't want to let go of the Louis story so they're adding this in even though he's not the focus and really shouldn't be in the show at the moment

But having the tv audience watch 2 seasons of Louis and then he's not there much is probably not going to work for tv audience

I'm still on Armand. I kind of just don't care about him though so it's been a bit of a struggle to get through lol

Holy shit. Yeah it sounds like that would be dumb to say Regina is Merrick. But I do hope this storyline unfolds in the show hopefully we get that far. Yo didn’t they cancel the Talamasca show though? I never really watched that show

Louis be doin the fuckin most yo 🤣

Merrick would have been PERFECT for the Talamasca show ... Even if they did it earlier then planned. Placing jacob and Delaney on Talamasca while doing the Merrick story, and still going in with body theif and memnoch on the main show would have been perfection

Also doing the taltos story?

Honestly.. they could have simultaneously......done

The vampire Chronicles as in order
the Mayfair story. In order..
And done Talamasca where they dug into the crossovers. ..

And made a 2 season finale covering Blackwood Farm ... Which was the merger of the two in the novels.

Like everything after Blackwood farm, is kinda irrelevant for the main story...... EXCEPT for Dr Fareed, who showed up afterwards...and he's already essential to the universe.... Yeah.... This show is nuts
