FX has ordered a series adaptation of Ubisoft's "Far Cry" video games from Noah Hawley and Rob McElhenney, Variety has learned.

FX has ordered a series adaptation of Ubisoft’s “Far Cry” video games from Noah Hawley and Rob Mac, Variety has learned.

In addition to co-creating the series, Mac (formerly McElhenney) will also star. The series will stream on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally. While exact plot details are being kept under wraps, the series will follow an anthology format like the games and feature a different cast and setting each season.
 
Also, FX is a great network for this type of show. FX and HBO are my top networks for new content that are from the cable tv era. Also fucking nuts that Mac from its always sunny is creator of this series. I trust the guy. Wonder how comedic it will be. There were silly moments in the games, but i hope its a serious show.
