Yeah i was listening to Black Milk pretty heavily back around 2010 or so. The Black and Brown EP with Danny Brown was dope. His album "Popular Demand" was fire. I just havent seen any releases in quite some time. He was always Indie, but he must have gone completely indie during that time and hasnt been promoted

'Popular Demand' was crazy... 365, Tronic, Calroit and The Set Up got regular spins too... I think he was on FatBeats last time I checked for him...
 
I have the original version of his track "Tronic" that dude posted on Myspace way back called "Tronic Summer" where he does a voiceover talmbout a new album called "The Drum and the Gun". My son loves that joint. I used to play it all the time in the ride and recently started playing it again at his request.

The album "Tronic" is in the ride right now. I also have his mixtape "Music From The Color Purple" on pretty much every PC and laptop that I own.

Been meaning to check for dude recently, guess this gives me a reason to get caught up.

This is the version of Tronic Summer I have. It doesn't have all of the instrumentation that the version on "Tronic" has.




Also just took a look, I also have his mixtape Pressure as well and I'm kinda surprised I forgot that one 'cause I used to play the shit out of that joint "Reunion" with Slum Village and Dilla along with "Danger" w/ T3 and Phat Kat and "Let's Go" with Pharaoh Monch. Shit, now I gotta drop it on a thumbdrive for the ride.
