Bruh I was just coming in here to say the same thing

They got fucked up, lol.

Lestat was with the shits in that hallways fight. I'm glad Sam and Daniel came to help.... But I feel like he only needed it cuz he was high as shit
I laughed at the mf getting chucked into the ceiling 🤣

Yeah I need to give this episode a couple more watches to fully encompass just what the fuck is going on. Total tonal flip of the show.

That hallway fight scene was hilarious. I had to run it back.

First, he called them niggas the Tooth Team...

Then he's letting these niggas punch him dead in the face laughing at them the entire time, even when they got the advantage.

Bro said you broke the vampire laws.... Lestat reply was it's 2025 🤣🤣

Like foh...

Gay dude human standing in the corner trying to convince himself that he's going to be a successful business person one day..... And that dude was hilarious anyway

Anybody ever OD before?
Both raise their hands.

And also The Fang Gang was like 10 deep and let a high ass Lestat, DJ Sam and Daniel wash them.... They ain't have no heavy hitters on their squad? How they even bold enough to pull up on him like that.

And now his mother here?? It's over for these dudes.

It had to be Akasha who fucked up Armand and Louis like that, cuz these early covens are not tough at all

I was going to ask about that. How much time has passed since the events of last season? I was thinking it was them fighting again when they walked into the auction all fucked up.

So i think I remember them saying the book came out 2 years after they reunited in New Orleans.

I don't know how much time from the book coming out to him being in Detroit doing the concert.

And I don't know how much time passed until the auction where they are selling off all his shit in the aftermath. But it does seem like they're doing what I hoped they do and show what the real world reaction would be to what happened..... Someone is auctioning off the evidence. Which makes sense.

But Louis and Armand getting fucked up? I have no idea who did that too them.
.
In the books, Louis doesn't show up until the last vampire fight before Akasha shows up, there's no telling how they gonna do it here. They're already way off track from the books. Armand was off stalking a very young and very human Daniel.. He played no part in this shit either. Everything AMC is doing is fresh.

My guess was the auction happened after the events of Akasha

Curious why they decided to do it this way. I guess it's going to be a lot of flashbacks

Also alluding to events that are supposed to be waaaaaayyyy ahead into the future is odd. Makes me think they're going to skip a lot

He stuttering when he sees his mother. He stuttering when he asked Louis did he hurt himself in episode 8 of season 2

This is a CRAZY detail to include. They really have this shit all planned out .. like they are so sharp with very small continuity details.
He points out how Louis never mentioned his scars.

They changed the rules on vampire sex from the books.... But, is almost like veggie because Louis doesn't like sex as much as Lestat... He says mad sexually driven things in the first two seasons.. but because Louis is the narrator, is toned down.. Lestat going all in... No pun intended.

I think their okay going forward because it offers a more detailed description of every character and the aftermath.

Like in the book interview, there's no mention of Marius, Magnus, Akasha... The book was written in 1976... She simple hadn't created them yet... The doctor fareed doesn't show up until I think book 10... He was there is season 1 and now in TVL ...

They do not care about using elements from every book wherever they see that it could fit. So I'm not mad at all at then jumping ahead.

I always said the books did a poor job of how the world would react as a whole. This show is covering that from the very first scene at the auction. It's very clear they swept everything under the rug and trying to sell shit off in a private auction. I love that. It's as realistic as it can get. There absolutely would be people who know it was all real, and they would likely be the very rich and elite.

I think this is going to be a very good season

Curious to see how the Talamasca are going to play into this season especially with Akasha coming.

Sam saying they inserted him into Theatre des Vampires was interesting. My memory is terrible but that was something that just came to light this episode right?
