Giving up future draft capital to chase the 8th seed doesnt make sense


The move is to trade Herb, Murphy and Zion and commit to a full rebuild but New Orleans doesn't want to do that for some reason

Pels from watching them this season, needs more spacing, more outside threats for Fears to penetrate or just play ISO ball, and for Zion to play his bully ball game.

Pels finished 24th in 3 point % for the year. That's not winning any games in this league.

Gotta go and get shooters,

Herb shot 46, I believe but he was hurt and, do ppl really look at Herb as a threat from the outside?

Trey shot below 36 or 38 I believe.

Just need more shooters

There was another trade, that would send Trey, Murray and the 2027 and 2029 2nd round picks for Brown.

I added that Poole could be shopped around for draft picks.

But that 8th seed comment. Jalen Brown wouldn't be coming onto this roster to play for an 8th seed position,

At least 6th or 5th would be sought out if the right players are gotten.

niggas laughing at Zion being traded for roster flexibility, a pick, and two young players that provide defense but then wanna talk about adding Jaylen brown to play with two 20 year olds

I don't see a world where trading for Jaylen Brown leads to a 5/6 seed for the Pelicans next season.....an outlandish set circumstances would have to place in order for that to happen imo
