This series has been all about the Mike Brown factor. Two games in a row, the Cavs have come out with strong game plans against the Knicks that led to moderate success, but Brown’s ability--and willingness--to adjust on the fly, combined with Atkinson’s inability to do the same, has led us to where we are now. This is why Thibs had to go, unfortunately.

Gotta keep the foot on the gas.

Lets give Brunson a shout out too though. Even though this could also be props to Brown.

The Brunson I know, when a team aggressively doubles him would double down and get 29 points on 27 shots and take a L.

But this Brunson said ok keep doubling me and passed the ball out the double more often than not and only took like 15 shots and had 14 assists.

100% agree. Cap's leadership and focus have been the #1 factors so far, but I also think the off-ball movement away from the double is a core part of the actual game plan being implemented.

That’s why Brown had no problem talking about Harden the way he did after Game 1. It was about steering the Cavs toward doubling Jalen, which lets us play more like we did in the back half of the Atlanta and Philly series — except now Jalen is the hub instead of KAT.

Making it to the conference might be a bad thing for Cleveland if they trick themselves into thinking they're closer than what they are

Every series up to now was an absolutely grind and now they're on the verge of getting taped

Donovan Mitchell can't be your best player and I think thats pretty evident at this point.

Going to be a very interesting team this summer with a lot of big decisions to make
