Were the race jokes cringe? Yes.

Is that kind of the point of a roast, to push boundaries? Also yes.

Did I think the race jokes were funny? Not at all and I can see the humor in about anything.

But if anybody should be mad it should be the LGBTQ folks cause gay jokes were flying all night.

All in all though, this was a good ass roast. Shit kicked into high gear from Sheryl on. It was slow before that. Even Shane mentioned that after Sheryl’s segment.

I thought the jokes about her husband were extreme

Then i looked it up and he died in 1990

Its been almost 40yrs

Saying "So someone can joke with you about your deceased wife?" It's disingenuous to what actually happened.
 
Now if I say "naw bruh, no deceased spouse jokes"

It's a completely different story.
