Let me start off that I love these one-off specials that shows do. It provides so much context to characters that we don't truly know like that. I loved it when Invincible did it for Atom Eve and I love it now about Mikey. Wish more shows would do this.
It's truly impressive that this is written by Bernthal and Ebon. They have an understanding of their characters. Mikey just baring his soul in the stall of a bathroom of some bar to a woman he just met. We see how his shitty childhood has shaped him. Mikey is a ticking timebomb.
