Those Daytona links got me thinking…

When did Push elevate himself above the field so much to be regarded as one of them ones?

Pusha T has NO classics

His last album came and went quick

He don’t even have enough solo songs to do a 10 song versuz because he don’t make hit songs

What did he do to be regarded as hiphop royalty?

Is Pusha T overrated??

What I will say is Push benefitted from the downturn of quality in hip hop the last decade plus. That’s part of the reason why he’s still relevant. Right place, right time. As good as he is he exceeded his shelf life by at least ten years lol. A lack of great MCs & nostalgia will do that.
