The biggest rap producer + the biggest rap star + Interscope/Universal backing + a survival story that the general public bought = the greatest setup an artist can ever dream of.

50 Cent's foundation was unbeatable, even Jay-Z saw it from miles away and warned his own mandem to cool the fuck out lol. Damn near everything 50 touched was gold. Music, fashion, beverages, jewelry, you name it. 50 Cent/G-Unit's dominance was out of this world. A powerful hold for at least 3 years straight

Kendrick's run was impressive too, and unique, but can't be compared to 50's
