Overall, B-

short matches, n2 especially delivered, idk why they would underdeliver for n1. But it was very lackluster, nothing Wrestlemania memorable, and no appearances.

The WM moment goes to Oba, though.

I don't know if WWE still write matches to end in disqualification at PLE, but I wouldn't mind seeing Roman and Oba fight end in a disqualification from Shield. Kinda like how Savage and Warrior outcome at 92' SummerSlam. Have Roman drop the belt to Bron. Roman, Obama, Gunther, Bron, Fatu, Punk, Seth, Cody, Drew etc. WWE gotta squad.

A few takeaways from this past weekend. I hate that Jade, Lash Legend and Nia Jaxx lost their belts but it is what it is 🤷

Brock is done bro. Think we all should know he's not with the semantics. Coming back and letting Gunther do it takes away from Oba. It'll be up to Paul and nem to figure out what to do with Gunthers favor.

Remember, he already fought Cody and it’s like that match never happened. If he gets another shot early, I can see it ending in the same way, but interference and then it’s beef between him and wherever interferes. I rather they just wait awhile.

I think Cody vs Oba was on SNME if I'm not mistaken. Soooo yeah...that match DEFINITELY was gonna end wit an interference and shenanigans. Ain't no way either one of them was walking away wit a clean victory. Lol

That would be stupid and a waste of time on their part.

Gunther favor could be having Paul slotting him into the title picture to face Roman. Pretty much jumping Bron.
 
The “Oba can’t get a title shot this soon” is a brain dead argument.

Brock won his first WWE championship within his first 6 months on the roster.

Angle was champion within a year.

Gunther won the IC title 2 months after comin to the main roster.

Hell Trick became US champ 2 and a half months into his main roster call up.

I say the earliest is Summerslam. If Randy gets the WWE Title & drops it to Oba I don’t see a problem with that. Personally I’d like to see him win the Royal Rumble and get the title at Mania.

Have him win King Of The Ring and win the title at Summerslam. Oba too hot to wait a year to crown him.
