Got a question for you fellas up north. Cause I don’t understand. I live in Charleston SC, legitimately people come to my city to cosplay as plantation owners. The biggest tourist spot is the literal market that’s soul purpose was the sell black slaves.

All that to say, down here. White people leave us the fuck alone. We enter a place where there’s a tendency for black people to be. They mind their business and we mind ourselves. Ain’t no looks of judgement, ain’t no holier than thou behavior.

You can tell if a white person in Charleston is tourist or if they are from here because of how they act around us.

Say that to also say, these white folks that come from up north, yall must be some kinda way cause they act like they don’t understand why the unwritten rules exist.

Like, yall got them thinking shit sweet..I’m asking, what’s going on?

I think I somewhat.I get what you're asking a like y haven't the whites from up north educated by the blacks there...or act like they aint never seen a real modern day black before?
 
As a newly minted middle aged mam I don't know if my perception of racism is more enhanced. or It's slightly off, but damn if it don't seem like tbat shit is alive and thriving better than ever

Unfortunately the whole tri-state got subjected to this bullshit on the radio or a whole fucking summer. You would turn on Hot 97 in 2006 and it was gonna be either this bullshit or that fucking Laffy Taffy song. That was the year I went full Tipper Gore and I haven't turned back.
