Anybdy on here listen to classical music?

I can follow and appreciate it after becoming attuned to jazz

And also grew to lampoon it for how stiff and static it is also because of becoming attuned to jazz lol

Using an analogy Classical is to Science/Math as Jazz is to Art. Classical is kinda supposed to be rigid and formulaic whereas Jazz (Classic espeicially) is more freeform and improvisational.

Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata ranks pretty high in my favorite songs of any genre.

I love composers like Holst, John Williams, and of course Mozart, Beethoven, and Ramon Djawadi.

John Williams

Gustav Holst - Planet Suite (Mars)

Ramin Djawadi

A personal favorite of mine cause I played it in High School - The Purple Twilight (Robert Longfield)

I played this game back in the day. It was pretty mediocre as far as RPGs go, but it did get me into Chopin's music.

I love this thread.

Has anyone hear ever heard of (or played) the Divine Comedy by Robert W. Smith? (R.I.P.)

It's in four movements. Here's the first movement, called "The Inferno"

He also composed a favorite piece of mine.....Africa: Ceremony, Song, and Ritual:

It's been an HBCU fanfare staple for decades.
