NBA Ratings Drastically Down This Year, Every Other Sports League Ratings Is Up

In general I would like to see both the NFL and NBA go younger when it comes to their media representatives. Too many of these personalities are caught up in selling drama and gate keeping their era as the superior era.

That’s my hope with the nba with NBC and Amazon for next season. It’s already begun with Amazon

Another example of it is the other week when Charles Barkley “went in” on JJ Reddick, when Ernie was asking Chuck, was JJ going in on you or was that just him making a general statement, he ignored it. You know that whole rant when he says if you come for the king, you best not miss? There is too much negativity around the sport when they act as if the average person, isn’t an idiot. So if you say the game sucks then what you think they gonna say to sound smart?

ESPN has tried that and these young dudes are all caught up in analytic crap. The talk about sports like it's a videogame
 
17 pages and we haven't solved this issue yet.... Wasn't there a static that the NBA does better ratings when there's a "dynasty"
 
the best thing for the NBA to do is first let teams have their own identity
analytics have fuck'd up the game by trying to make every player a three point shooter
hockey and baseball don't have a face of the league the NBA needs to stop doing this
