FEATURED Snoop & Nelly Set To Perform At Trump's Inauguration

test
If something consistently happens where your words are taken a certain way then at a certain point you can't blame the audience. You gotta rethink how you're coming off and the word choices you're making and/or the tone your taking to consistently get that reaction.
Ehhh I hear u but in politics we get very opinionated and while I have just as strong a bias reflected in my opinions, the ones who consistently take issue or assume ulterior motives all seem to align in their biases I feel like it's nothing more than that really.

Well when you spend the past 9 years claiming that person is a threat to democracy then it would look funny to just embrace and hand over power with a smile. So on that level it is hypocritical. He's basically saying they should act the same way Trump did when he lost. And to some people on the left they would like to see Dems take more if that approach.

That's just ya'll falling for political theatre. Buggin out over this shit is like seeing two boxers go at each in the ring and then being surprised when you see them chop it up at a club a couple weeks later.

Wasn't it Michelle Obama, that said:

"When they go low, we go high..."

Now I don't know or remember what she was referencing but that's exactly what the ex Democrat prez's did ...

Trump didn't attend Bidens inauguration cos he's petty and petulant... Sometimes you just gotta show class and restraint especially in public life

Just my opinion

I ain't against them being petty if they really got beef. I just don't believe Obama beefin with Trump like that. He's just a poltician and was saying the shit that politicians say. At the end of the day, Trump's presidency will be good for Obama because Obama is rich. Now W got beef with Trump. He doesn't even acknowledge that dude when they are in the same space together.

Who's bugging out? It's just people saying "if you say somebody is a threat then act like it." People say politicians need to be held accountable for their words and called out when they're not. This is just that.

Singular. Only ONE HBCU band went to that bullshit.

And it was the same HBCU Band director that took the other band to Donnie Dickwad's first phony coronation. His name is Miguel Bonds, and back in 2017 he was Head BD for Talladega College. Now's he's buck dancing at Mississippi Valley State.
Ok. Still cooning though I should clarify I'm not blaming the students.

This isn't both sides bullshit though. Entertainers entertain. That's what they do. You ain't got to like who they choose to entertain, but at the end of the day you can't act like Snoop or Nelly were doing something off brand for them.

CtG's point is that Dem politicians are supposed to be opposing forces to Trump. They are supposed to be doing everything they can to assure that he doesn't sink the country. Instead, they play political games when its time to run against him and then throw all that shit to the side when the battle is lost.

Now, for me, I don't necessarily agree with the examples CtG gave. People are acting like Obama and Biden went on a homeboys trip with Trump. Obama had a civil conversation with the man at a funeral. Biden did the typical peaceful transfer of power shit that all presidents do. I don't understand what people want. Do they expect for everyone that's not MAGA to spit in Trump's face everytime they see him? Nobody's doing that shit.
Coonin is coonin regardless of the level. Whether it's Clarence Thomas, Tim Scott, Candace Owens, Nelly, Christian Walker, or a random nigga at gas station. Nelly and snoop have their finger on the pulse and know the weight of what they did which is sad.

All of them benefit from the pain and blood of hundreds of years of struggle black people have fought for in America. Without that, what would they be today?

So why do they get a pass? Cause they dance and sing and it's exspected? Would dancing for Hitler be cool too?

We need a official "coon pass" list. What amount of wealth or fame gets people a pass? What about time period?

They fit the criteria so Coon Pass granted? Giving them a pass sounds elitist.

I'm not disagreeing that corporate democrats are a problem. Owned by doners and they do just enough to say "We're not like them" but never enough.

But, let's not pretend like one evil isn't far worse than the other. There is no equivalence here.

One side offered "Build Back Better" and the other side offered "🖕🏻, I'm destroying all this shit". That's putting it lightly.

We know what far right is, we've never seen what far left looks like anywhere on this planet.

That's why I say fuck civility. Fuck the good cop fasade. Democrats need someone as vicious as trump.

Again, y'all are calling Obama out for having a civil conversation with Trump at a funeral. People are acting like they were getting asking like old college buddies. What was Obama supposed to do? Spit in his face? Y'all latch onto the dumbest shit

The niggas are entertainers. They took a gig, nothing more, nothing less. I agree they shouldn't have done it, but comparing performing at an inauguration party to the shit Clarence Thomas did is wild. Snoop didn't hurt anyone but his own image. Clarence Thomas has made rulings that have had a measurable negative impact on the black community.

I'm not comparing them to measure their impact. The fact is they are coonin and some how they get a pass because "they are entertainers".

I'm not giving out coon passes.

I just don't see it as a pass. Snoop ain't Chuck D. He's a nigga that pretty much takes every gig that comes his way. I'm not sure why people are surprised by this even if he was against it in the past.

He's pretty much doing what I expect of him.

I think you're overthinking it. Who was saying he should spit in his face or even do something extreme?

lol That's the point. I'm basically mirroring ya'll from the other side. Obama did some super trivial shit, and people are having an extreme reaction to him. So ya'll must have wanted him to behave in some kind of extreme manner. Go look at the video. They were put together. Trump said some shit to him. Obama responded. There wasn't any laughing or kee-keeing. It was just a civil conversation between two people at funeral. And ya'll are accusing him of normalizing Trump. Trump is fucking president...again meaning millions of people voted for him, and some how Obama is normalizing him by simply acknowledging his existence. That's crazy.

It so weird. When Obama was president, he was out there sending drones and killing innocent civilians at a +90% rate and ya'll ain't have much of nothing to say. This dude speaks to Trump and now ya'll got all the smoke for him. The world is retarded.

No. You're assuming people want some extreme reaction. People are simply saying treat him like the "threat" they said he was no more no less.

As for the shit about "yall didn't say anything to Obama when he did *random act* during his term"...thats always a bad strawman argument. For one when that claim is lobbied it's often without the context of age of the person you're talking to. Obama got elected nearly 20 years ago at this point. He was last in office nearly a decade ago. I say that to say most people become more politically aware and knowledgeable as they get older. So to expect a group of people who were most likely at best in their 20s and at worst in their teens to have the same criticism is silly.

Also if you look back at how Obama's presidency is viewed by many now he gets heavily criticized for many things and the bombings you mentioned often are near the top if not at the top of that list. So much so that a huge part of his presidential legacy is defined by it. Those claims were coming in real time if you look back at things written about Obama by his critics, and with people becoming increasingly online more over the last 15 years that information has spread and flourished to become something that is attached to his time in office.

lol My nigga what are you talking about. First of all, I didn't strawman anything. I kinda question whether you understand what that fallacy is. Second, this conversation, in part, was started by CtG's rant. He wasn't a toddler when Obama was president, and neither were many of the people expressing outrage over this trivial shit. I'm not sure why you trying to act like only young people are whining about this shit. And even if people don't remember his presidency, they were old enough to remember his constant finger waving at protesters trying to make a difference, his complicity in Dems cheating for Hillary, him and his wife's profiteering immediately after leaving the presidency. All of that shit is worst than him holding a conversation with Trump, and none of it received half as much criticism from the masses.

At the end of the day, I don't give a fuck about Obama having a civil conversation with Trump. In fact, I want him to treat Trump well because if the rumors are true, Obama roasting Trump in 2011 was instrumental to Trump running for president to begin with. So yeah, geniuses, why don't we all push Obama to snub Trump more, so the big baby can try even harder to erase Obama's legacy and any inkling of good he managed to do when in office.

When you make statements like "yall ain't have nothing to say" you're making a very bold and clear declaration. One that's false, but it's still very bold. And you left it wide open with the wording you chose. And even then if you're using CTG he's still within that age range I was speaking of which is people who were in their 20s when Obama came onto the national scene and got elected. So it still does apply.

All the other stuff you mentioned Obama got criticized for then and still does now very heavily...but the reason the shit with Trump sticks out is because of the level of threat they spoke of him as. If he did those other things with the same level of disdain then the feedback would match it.

Again this is all because you admittedly overthought this and assumed what reaction people wanted instead of just asking. And thats fine...but you gotta be able to admit that you jumped out there with an assumption that may not be as true as you want it to be. You took something very simple and made it complicated. Either Trump is the threat they said he is and he should be treated as such or, as is said often, the political theater by Dems to make Trump the boogeyman backfires when he wins and then now you gotta be cordial with him.

Bro, Obama did not get as much heat for any of that stuff as he's getting for this. If you're claiming he did, then we can agree to disagree cause you're just denying reality to try and be right.

I literally said he doesn't get criticized for those things as heavily and that Trump sticks out more for a reason. If you disagree with the reasoning provided that's fine. But don't say the words aren't there for you to read
