I'm not a fan of Charlamagne...but that headline is very misleading. This is what he actually said and it makes sense and has been a complaint lobbied by many including some on ABW in criticism of Democrats.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne explained why he felt people were letting Democrats off the hook by focusing on the rappers.
“The hypocrisy that people display in regards to who they like and don’t like is mind-blowing to me,” Charlamagne said. “Like, there is no way you are more mad at rappers for performing at these inauguration events than you are at the elected officials who told us Trump was a ‘fascist,’ a ‘threat to democracy,’ a ‘danger to our country and the Constitution.’ They likened him to Hitler, but then folks like [Joe Biden] just welcomed him back in the White House. [Barack Obama] was sharing a good laugh with him at the funeral of President Carter.
“We know why the rappers did what they did. We know why they’re doing it. They got paid. What’s the politicians’ excuse for normalizing Trump?”

It's true...and its part of why Dems aren't taken seriously. The Republicans take their "fuck you" to the heart. When they don't fuck with you they let it be known even if it's one of their own. Look how they did Mitt Romney for not bowing to trump. But the Dems always want the perception of being the morally superior party so they will try to move on like ain't shit happen when they're opposition wins. Dems win or lose and Republicans talk shit like a game of 33 just ended. They're more consistent in how they present themselves and it worked in their favor

All of that went out the window when people backed Biden for president though. After that many just look out for their best interests, none of these parties are really worth a damn

Dems are operating under the old rules, which were more “honorable” relatively. We in the Trump era now though and those rules no longer apply.

Yep, they are ruthless and they use every trick in the book to take what they want.

Even when democrats win, they are on that bipartisan bullshit when republicans couldn't give the slightest fuck what democrats want.

I get it, cause when I vote for a democrat I want him to be ruthless on our behalf. Fuck what the other side wants.

I don't know who that person is, but after trump is done tearing shit up, a "radical liberal" might really have a chance this time.
