Yo know what kinda makes me sad nowadays? Canibus wasnt really talking about anything. I used to think he was very smart and I’m still convinced he is smart. But he knew his audience, so he would say shit like, I write like Egar Alan Poe, but then quote like the most known Poe quote. And it be poorly done too.

Be basic as shit, but if you young, you know Poe is a well known writer and it’s seem as sophisticated shit, so that makes quoting him smart, but it’s like,, you didn’t even flip nothing into a dope bar. Lupe Fiasco is who Canibus was pretending to be.

The only thing in this entire verse that has a layered meaning is the buoyancy of a boat, which I’m assuming he means what he quotes, floats, and that may be a stretch that I’m giving him that. The rest of this is nonsense

I looked up it cuz a trillion sounded ridiculous. Turns out it was a more reasonable 22 billion...
