Why would there need to be a consequence though? There's already reviews complaining there's no real consequences

Huh a married CEO sleeps with her internWhy would there need to be a consequence though?
She was never outed. Husband seemed to move on. The interns girlfriend knew about it and exploited it but she didn't go public that we know of. Plus it's a movie. Doesn't need to always have real world consequencesHuh a married CEO sleeps with her intern
What are we doing hereShe was never outed. Husband seemed to move on. The interns girlfriend knew about it and exploited it but she didn't go public that we know of. Plus it's a movie. Doesn't need to always have real world consequences
Small disagreement that I guess she should have been fired and life ruined at the end to make it a more realistic movie? What are we doing here
That's the dilemma the message of the film is supposed to be "sexual freedom what you like shouldn't make you feel ashamed (within reason)" the scene when they had a fight and her husband said it's just male desires and he said it's an old fashioned way of thinking some women want this. Was eye opening to her husband.Small disagreement that I guess she should have been fired and life ruined at the end to make it a more realistic movie?
Ah. Gotcha. I don't normally look for any type of message from a movie so I never thought about it. I'm just there to be entertained lolThat's the dilemma the message of the film is supposed to be "sexual freedom what you like shouldn't make you feel ashamed (within reason)" the scene when they had a fight and her husband said it's just male desires and he said it's an old fashioned way of thinking some women want this. Was eye opening to her husband.
Now if they do the realistic ending then the message of the film gets lost. She found sexual freedom but in that process she lost everything.
So I agree with what you're saying but to some the film in hindsight has no risk of consequences
