Saw this in the NFL thread too.

I still can't get on board when people completely ignore cultural changes, and everything else in order to give all credit to the Rooney rule.

Like him saying there's no way any black coaches will get hired if the rule is gone... what?! Again, look at the NBA. Mostly black American sports league with an alarmingly low number of black head coaches... pretty apples to apples comparison. They've seen a significant increase in the number of black head coaches and don't have anything like the Rooney Rule. So why gas up the Rooney Rule like it's the only reason why black coaches even have a chance?
