Man that's fucked up I hate seeing people lose everything like that. Fucked up thing about this most of these homes lost will probably be lost forever due to homeowners not having fire insurance due to the insurance company's pulling out of places like CA and FL or the rates are so high they can't afford them in the first place.

Not aware of the CA politics but wasn't money that was supposed to go to LAFD taken away so they can help fund the LAPD for billions? I may be wrong but I thought I heard that somewhere. So I rather not just say that without more facts.
Here is a fact tho......a third of the firefighters working on these fires are inmates and they're doing it for free or pennies. They go thru almost a year of training for this and get a certificate BUT once they're released they can't apply to be a fireman due to having a record.

And these crackas out here still blaming DEI and wokeness. Hard to find sympathy for the Malibu folks. But the Altadena fires hurt. Lot of middle class black folks out there who didn’t have to deal with the redlining, who owned homes out there.
