Welcome To aBlackWeb

What do you wish for in wrestling in 2025?

as much as I hate brand splits. I think AEW might benefit greatly by doing one. It’s too many folks on the roster and establishing where talent can be seen could help a lot
I'm purely casual with AEW

It would help with following who I hear y'all talk about

WWE
- Street Profits have a long tag team title reign.
- Carmelo as US or IC champ
- Jade returns as a monster heel. Let her squash people.
- Jaida Parker wins NXT women's title
- Oba dominates both NXT and the main brands. Just push him as the new ruler of the world.
- Cedric Alexander is actually used regularly (fuck you WWE for real for this one)
- Bianca becomes women's world champion.
- Wyatt 6 either go away permanently or get a leader worth pushing. Braun needs something to do, push him as the leader with a new gimmick.
- Jacob stays healthy.
- Dom Mysterio becomes a champion again.
- Nick Aldis wrestles.
- LA Knight stays in the midcard. Yeah.
- The Hardyz return as a regular tag team.

AEW
- Swerve becomes world champion again.
- Omega realizes AEW absolutely needs him to stick around and not run off to Japan when he's bored.
- Omega is a heel most of the year.
- The Bucks return in their old gear and not the terrible look they have been sporting the last year.
- Hobbs wins a title.
- No 8-man tag teams
- Be more consistent with booking. It feels like things change so rapidly or get dropped.
- Lio Rush becomes a champion.
- Top Flight is pushed as a great new team...because they are a great new team.
- Private Party evolves and continues their success with more feuds.
- The Hurt Syndicate win all the titles and gets a few new members.
- Jamie Hayter stops looking like Becky Lynch.
- QT Marshall never appears at all. We never hear the name again.
- Push Lance Archer again. They really built him as a credible monster heel only for it to go nowhere the last couple of years.
- Ricochet starts wearing a mask again.

Misc
- Myron Reed is a regular on AEW, NXT, or WWE.
- Tessa Blanchard goes away again.
- NXT/WWE and TNA continue their partnership.
- All the bad English speakers in WWE/NXT learn to speak better.

Lame niggas are gonna be at the top with Hunter around so it is what it is. I don't expect much and don't think currently anything will change my mind about the male main event scene this year.

The Japanese and Black women should be the focus. They have everything you need to build interesting programs and have a star or 2 in their respective units that can transcend wrestling. Nia Jax is also someone who needs to be book even stronger going forward.

New Day new gimmick/era should allow them to actually be treated as the crossover stars they've been for a decade instead of never investing in them.
