Not true…

Of course it wasn’t OB4CL levels cuz that’s arguably a top 10 hip-hop album…and tha time between projects was too long but it wasn’t a dud either
 
I think OB4CL2 is a tad too long, but it's a damn good album. It basically went head to head with a Jay-Z album and won for the first couple of weeks.

I bought the CD retail (maybe through Amazon?). I listened to it a few times but it just didn't have the magic that the first one had.

Well of course not, it was a completely different time and state of hunger for Rae. The sequel kept the theme of the original but also had the evolution and modernization of the late 2000s. OB4CL was a classic beginning. Ob4cl2 was a classic for 2009 Raekwon. In the same vein as the original, just added some growth and modernization. Both end up being raekwons top albums in his discography. By no means will I say 2 is a better album than the first one, but just saying it actually felt like a continuation years later and was still an amazing album.
 
OB4CL 2 was a great album

Shaolin vs Wu Tang was also good

Id say OB4CL, OB4CL 2 and Shaolin vs Wu tang are his top 3 albums
