So i was on reddit, an apparently they installed those barriers to stop cars from being able to do this, but they were removed for maintenance...... :|

Apparently the city is upgrading them in preparation for the super bowl. They had police cars where the barriers would have been but the guy just drove around the car....

You'd think they'd do the maintenance during the slow season, and install some sora temp barrier that isnt easily driven around. I guess thats just asking too much.
