I'm curious what you considered the tone was for the first two seasons
Well for one, at least early on, the Watcher was more involved in the narrating. It seems to have dipped a bit.
There was a bigger threat at play that required everyone to "assemble" by seasons end.
The episodes seemed to flow better. This season seems like an anthology. I'm trying to find the connective tissue and I'm having trouble doing so
I mean Ultron and Strange Supreme weren't revealed to be the antagonists till near the end of their respective seasons. I actually think the rest of the Celestials are the antagonists for this season after what Agatha did
I'ma keep watching but I'm still on the fence for now

Take your time, the 4 episodes so far have been mostly mid. I guess the Howard the Duck episode was a bit amusing, idk.

What an episode. Riri and the genius that she is, but still needing that final push from The Watcher to keep fighting. Gave me Far From Home vibes when Mysterio was fucking with Riri with the illusions.

Funny enough, that's what if biggest problems...
The actual movie order and release schedule of the MCU.
They cancelled the series just so the MCU could catch up and they not get blocked on so many ideas due to the MCU not sticking to their schedule.
They had a lotta mutant shit, ff4, galactus, silver surfer.... Doom.... Like so many what if stories that got blocked by marvel and figure himself cuz it just wasn't in line with the movies the were releasing.
They thought Shang Shi 2 would be out by now.
