I won't argue about the Ja track but if I had to pick an anthem for New York I would have to go with Uptown Anthem but Naughty By Nature.

I think an actual anthem needs a big beat and chorus that everyone can get hype too, otherwise its more an 'ode to a city'...
Like 'Raise Up', 'New York', 'Welcome To Atlanta', 'South Bronx' etc are anthems that bang... Tunes like 'NY State of Mind' and 'Homecoming' are more like dedications or odes...
