Ricky Henderson, Jose Conseco, & Barry Bonds are the reason I got into baseball as a kid. Used to love going to the A's games. Ricky Henderson was actually friends with my stepdad. Had the chance to meet him at my mom's wedding. He hopped out a white range rover and everybody was happy to see him. And he was cool as fuck. Took pictures with everybody and you could tell he really enjoyed being embraced by everyone. This one lowkey real deal hurts.

GUILTY BY AFFILIATION
Rickey has always been one of my faves. He's on my personal Mt. Rushmore with Bonds, Griffey Jr., and Strawberry.
His time on the Dodgers was brief and unnecessary but he was cool about it. He would chop it up with a few fans after games. He signed both of my sons' batting helmets. They didn't really know who he was but I was the one that was all starstruck and shit. lol
