Facts…that was the one that had colleges sending me letters. SAT happened too late in the process for all that.

It’s kinda like finally making varsity and balling out your senior year only, that’s too late to go to a big college.

Yep, if you get a high enough score on that, you're named as a National Merit or National Achievement scholar. When I was applying for college, a lot of schools would accept you or give you scholarships off that alone.

It just so happened my year, FAMU wanted to have the most National Achievement scholars. They gave me a full ride, a computer, and put me in one of the on-campus apartments as opposed to the shitty dorms where all the Freshmen went.

My SAT score didn't really even matter. I took it in 10th grade for practice and didn't even bother taking it again after that because I got accepted at all my schools off the being a National Merit and National Achievement scholar.
 
I took the ACT test as a sophomore for shits and giggles with my patnas who were taking theirs to get into college. I made a 14, and sat on that 14 until I graduated HS. I didn't take it again. At the time the school I attended only required a 13 to get in. My folks didn't allow me to go to any other school but to Southern University.

PSAT and ACT for me.

I'm trying to remember, but when I took the PSAT I either scored as one of the highest in the state or highest in the country, can't remember. That alone opened a bunch of doors and my ACT was one of the highest in the city and the highest my school had ever seen. After taking those two and with the interest generated by those scores, I said "Fuck an SAT" and skipped it.
 
I heard they changed the scoring

1600 was perfect when I took it.

I got an 1130.

Our school wanted everyone to get a 1200 at the least. So we would take it once in 11th grade... And if we didn't hit 1200, we were supposed to take it again in the 12th. I figured 1130 was good enough. Most colleges were happy with anything over 1000. So I only took it the one time as a junior.
 
I took ACT a few times. 1st time I was a JR and got a 17. SR year I got a 22. That was enough for me get into Southern University and get well grants.
I took the SAT cause I was a nerd. Took it at this other school in our Catholic tree of private schools. Our school was all black. School I went to for the SAT was all white. I saw first hand now white people cheat. Teacher handed out the test and left. Didn't come back until the test was over. Girls and boys was in there sharing answers.
My black ass wasn't cheating. They asked me too. Smmfh. I got a 1250 on mine.
 
I don’t know exactly except for the reading comprehension part I got like 98%. Everything else was at college level and I didn’t have to take any extra classes. I took it in 2014 for the first time.
