My theory
They were forced to pull this out of beta testing cause of the response it was getting
I believe all of this was probably going to be S1 or launch but it wasn't fully fleshed out by the time it was released so they had to put other shit out instead to buy time

Maybe If Ubisoft isn’t bought by another company by next year they can try again in the future
I saw a video on this too
It's a clusterfuck
But unless I missed something, the company that is trying to buy Ubisoft has done well with games that were once on the brink of shutting down and this game appears to be one they would support
