I'm a little confused. Are you saying that the accountability charge is thrown out to lay blame? That's not really what I've seen. Most of the time it comes up in response to someone trying to lay blame. The most common scenario from what I've seen is black men saying black women who have bad experiences need to be accountable for the men they choose instead of blaming all black men. I'm not saying whether the charge is right or wrong. I'm just trying to understand your contention with the "accountability" argument.

A big example is the whole passport bros and divestment movements. Instead of taking some self accountability they would rather think that American Black men/women are the problem.

I hear you.

It kinda seems to me that black men and black women in America just don't like each other anymore. Both sides have idealized visions of what the other side should be, which is always a problem when trying to build.

The issue wasn't people thinking it was corny though. The issue was the women tearing down the men for doing it. Go look the topic. Like I said before, you had chicks saying shit like "They can put on suits, but I bet they still don't take care of their kids." Even if you think the suit thing was corny, which it was, why tear the men down for it?

Saying that black women are the biggest haters out there is a bit much when you have racists that will literally kill other people because of their hatred. But we gotta stop acting like there aren't segments of both black men and black women that are out of pocket. Those people are doing our community a disservice and it doesn't help anyone to make it seem like they don't exist.

No trust me I know it’s a good amount of black folks who ain’t trying to be saved and love gender wars. I do think it’s a minority but very loud the men and women.

Maybe because its not the norm anymore, instead the push for society is geared towards the opposite. Maybe there needs to be more positive messages on parenting.

I can actually look next door and see the black man with his black wife raising his 3 kids. They are just a regular ass family like most black families NOT SHOWN ON IG (and families in general, no race added). I don’t even want the positive family to be viral because it will be torn down by all these hating ass people

Haters are apart of life, thats up to them to figure their shit out. But good messaging shouldn't be stopped because of haters. If it reaches one then its a success.
