I’m waiting for the budget docs to be released

But so far I know no property tax hike but
An increase on ride sharing tax especially the weekend tax
Increase on city fines , plastic bags , more red light speeding cameras

And foregoing on a 40 million dollar loan payment due in 2025

We ll be back here at the same spot next December

Now they are shifting their focus to the teachers contract negotiations

Which is gonna cost 10 billion over the next 4 years if they get what they want which the mayor Is 100% backing


They are also going to try to work with the governor for a progressive tax rate …. Last one was voted down we ll see how this goes next year

We ll see how that affects companies based out of the city especially seeing as we have lost some huge companies recently and commercial real estate downtown is awful right now

Like the one alderman said we don’t have a revenue issue we have a spending issue
