Again, I'm not arguing that putting on a suit is anything special. lol Go back to that topic. My first post was basically me saying that it was dumb. Whether you think it had value or was just a photo op is irrelevant to the point being discussed here. I brought it up because they were trying to put out something positive and a lot of women popped up to tear them down as men. They weren't criticizing the usefulness of the attempt. They were shitting on the men themselves. That was unnecessary. A lot of black women want to be celebrated for everything they do. That's cool. They are undervalued, so we should celebrate them. However, some of those same women don't want black men to be celebrated for anything.

I get all of that. My point is that instead of showing Black men in a positive light by their works, they went the easy, superficial, gutless route and just had 'em dressing up for the camera. Show Black men actually doing something positive.
 
This should be celebrated more. A lot of peoples minds are conditioned to be something else which is why they wouldn't see the good in this.
 
Any thing you do for likes is bound to get dislikes..

It is what it is... If you're a good father.. You do it for your kid, not what other people's approval.

Plus there:s way more serious issues with father's in their daughters lives than complexion.
