You know what parenting is? Going to a middle school strings recital knowing they sound like two drunk cats fighting in an alleyway, but still being able to smile and clap as if your ears aren't bleeding.

Bruuuuuuuuuuh!!!

School district when we were in AZ actually had music classes and the oldest daughter took up the clarinet. She had a recital with the rest of the class when she was in the 8th grade. They had woodwind, brass, strings, and percussion.

... That whole shit sounded like a pack of dying elephants. And I got it all on film too. The camcorder is in storage right now. When I finally go back and get it, I'mma digitize that shit and upload it to my family Facebook page.

Today I walked by a CO and the look on his face was like he hated every moment of being there.

Turns out I was walking to his dorm. So I go in and he left a social worker locked in there. She looked terrified and was surrounded by inmates so i stayed by the door till the C.O came back to at least give her some kinda reassurance that she’s not in the situation by herself

So he comes back and unlocks the door to the dorm and she’s flustered, his apologetic and I think that’s the end of it.

I had to keep going and coming back to the dorm. The last time I’m in, I’m working, I go to leave and the door is locked.

I asked a inmate, yo, he do this often, the inmate was like, yea, but I’d be surprised if he came back this time.

30 minute later I call upfront to have someone open the door to let me out. Turns out, dude locked me in, walked straight to the front of the prison, turned in his keys and left.

Didn’t even tell no one i was there..just locked me and and quit his job

My oldest son did a showcase when he was 13. They sounded awful, but you couldn't tell me shit about my baby...

I love my daughter. After it was done, I went up to her and said "Ya'll did a good job." She gave me the Shaq face as was like "Do you really think that?" I said "Nah, ya'll sounded terrible." She just started laughing and was like "I know."

It's her first year though, and she wants to stick with it, so she'll get better.
