It’s not about them moving needles

It’s about keeping the team identity/chemistry in tact and having interchangeable depth and being built for the playoffs while not giving up as many assets as you did for towns and bridges

You can’t even say they aren’t needle movers because nobody thought Kelly Oubre would be a mainstay needle mover for the sixers

It's weird that you mentioned Orlando in your previous post when NY just beat them but anyway...

They are trying to win NOW. Those future assets might not even amount to nothing. If you can get Towns & Bridges instead of some interchangeable bench players, you make the move. This team was thrown together late in the offseason. They will figure it out. Let niggas get healthy and let's see what happens. Towns was bought in to help in the playoffs. I think he will.

I know Riley has got you so conditioned to embrace role players since the heats have nothing but that but you need talent to beat Boston,Cavs, a healthy Bucks and on paper Philly. Not Divo/Brown or Harris.

Sixers just beat the Magic last night who are a better team

The Knicks should not be as bad defensively as they are even with dealing an injury to Mitchell Robinson

You’re replying as if I’m saying the Knicks aren’t capable of figuring things out

Im simply saying they departed from their brand of basketball to adopt one that might be less effective in the playoffs when it really matters

YOU brought the Magic's regular season record being better than the Knicks even tho they are only ahead by half a game. Also, Knicks had a way tougher schedule than Magic to start the season.

Knicks are winning with a very comfortable margin of victory. I'm not a stat guy but I would bet winning easily has much to do with your defense taking a dip. It's human nature to relax when you are coasting.

I know you know they will figure it out. IMO they had to make changes after all the offseason moves by other teams. Firepower will be the theme this playoffs.

You focusing on the magic too much I just used them to illustrate the Knicks should be better than they are and they aren’t from a move that will most likely bite them in the ass (well that’s what my thought is based off of anyways)

Knicks shouldn’t have sacrificed their identity, defense, depth and chemistry for bridges and towns
