How Do We Feel About Short Songs?

They are necessary in this day and age

These kids with short attention spans aint got time for your three long ass verses

Some songs be too long tho too

Kinda annoying to have 6-7min songs on a playlist. Can really drag on after a point

80 seconds too short tho

Anywhere from 2 to 3 and half mins the sweet spot
 
Depends. It can be a good shot of adrenaline if you can get your point across that quickly. At the same time, you can smell the lack of creativity when these songs with a 12 bar verse bookended by two hooks play... they're definitely a waste of airtime and a detriment to the music business as a whole. Then again, I'm a guy that listens to Pink Floyd albums front to back so don't mind me.

I think a short song is perfect to break up the monotony of an album.

But I hate skits. There's a difference between a 1 minute song and a 1 minute skit.

forgot how long a song has to be played to count as a full stream



but more likely to repeat a song 2-3x that's a minute & a half vs. a song that 4-5min
