It's not a good place to be imo even though Toronto has a lot of positive takeaways so far from this season with player development and coaching

Too good to tank, not good enough to win...Can't even ethically tank because they're too good for that

I would have zero interest in making the playoffs if I was a Raptors fan

It sounds good until you get swept and then you have to ask was those extra 4 games worth missing out on being top 5 in the lottery?

I think that a lot of teams are always gonna overlook good players in the draft, so most years you can still find good players around 10-20 picks. So I think that they can still improve through the draft if they make the playoffs.

They could use somebody else in the middle too

Regardless of where we land in the draft I'm pretty confident we'll find an NBA player but as happy as I am to see the positive player development throughout the roster I'm sick knowing we're probably about to play ourselves out of top 5 draft position. Could end up missing out on a great piece. Bittersweet cause these guys are fun to watch and deserve to win. Can't exactly ask them to lose on purpose. Just have to let it ride i guess.🤷🏿‍♂️
