I always wonder how a person is the innovator of something but doesn't benefit from it. Sometimes its bad luck, but sometimes it's that person. Judging by how he's handling this situation, it might be the latter.

We been saying squabble/squab and doing that same hand motion to signify the squabble/fight since the 90’s, out here… so even him saying he “created” that dance is kinda ehhh…
Side note: I wonder if EA cut him a check, because that squabble up dance is in their football games

That's kinda his point. He didn't single out Kendrick.
I think at the end of the day, he doesn't understand how this shit works. You throw some shit online or on social media, you don't really own it anymore. If you want to capitalize off of it, it's up to you to make sure that you leading the wave from the start. If you put it out there, and then it blows up without you, you can't really come back after the fact and expect to reap the benefits. It's not set up like that. They better find a way to start copyrighting these social media dances.

Like I said, I get not being in the video making him feel a way. That’s a check he missed. I get him wanting to be paid by these video game companies (he has, by the way) because they are selling a product with his “IP” in it. I get wanting your credit, this man been on ESPN, behind this shit because multiple NFL players originating from SoCal have been doing his dance.
EVERYBODY who SHOULD know he started this dance, pretty much knows by now. The rest of us who didn’t know, by this point… it’s because we don’t care who made up the latest viral dance.
Calling out those dancers as “fake friends” who betrayed him for doing his LA dance, in an LA themed music video, by the biggest LA rapper is crazy work.
This was a good look. Nobody buys music videos, it’s for promotion. And now he has a literal theme song for his dance, that’s actually good…because the one they were using before is trash tbh

I agree with you. I think him putting out that post is probably an example of why he's not asked to appear more. People that do shit like that don't really endear themselves to the kinds of people that can provide opportunities.
