Is MMLP The Worst So-Called "Classic"?

Because it’s not a classic. They are obligated to give him a classic and since it’s his best album they by default name that his classic.

It sold 10X plat and White people call it a classic, by that definition, it's a classic.

It’s a classic because it’s sold a lot of records and white people like it? Are you being sarcastic or serious?
I remember when it was out. White people swore up and down that Em was The GOAT.

And then 8 Mile came out around the same time Benzino started throwing darts and somehow Eminem got crowned as an untouchable battle rapper with three 5 mic classics under his belt.

That Ken Kaniff skit don't help its case.

You said somehow, like niggas was just dropping number one soundtracks, movies and albums in one year all willy nilly. At worst you can say his battle rap record is embellished... he mostly freestyled randomly and lost to Juice, you can have that. You forgot about his feature run and his verses on the D12 albums, plus his work with 50. If nothing solidified him before '03, his verses on Patiently Waiting and Don't Push Me certainly did. You can debate half a mic on each album, but those were 3 separate master classes on lyricism created from a crazy white boy perspective.

SUPER hot take: Wasn't too crazy about The Fix. Just another dope Scarface album that just happened to come out in 2002. The only songs that stood out to me were In Cold Blood and Guess Who's Back.

Come to think about it, The Naked Truth by Lil Kim got 5 mics. Sit here and tell me you're listening to this 20 years later

Fuck Benzino.
