Drake didnt mind when the label is inflating his numbers......if he did he would have sued when before this beef.

UMG is in negotiations with Drake on a very lucrative deal. If they used anything to to shift influence in Kendricks favor and used any tactic to discredit Drake then that's foul and that's not anything worth the amount of backlash it is receiving.

They both work for the same label.

One of the rappers is negotiating the biggest music deal in history with the label.

One rapper is having his songs and lyrics being used as a catalyst by the label to disparage the other rapper who is negotiating with the label.

The harder the label goes at influencing one rapper (Kendrick) the better their negotiating stance is with the other rapper (Drake).


If the roles were reversed, niggas would be trying to rally the entire music industry to get behind Kendrick Lamar especially. Can you imagine if Kendrick Lamar was taking on the biggest music label in the industry considering Kendrick's music and content?

FOH. Niggas would be calling for a revolution if Kendrick was doing this.


All the talk about Drake being a bitch is from niggas that are making their minds up on something that they already decided that they do not want to be in favor of.

He still was number 1 on Spotify regardless. What really happened? He lost to people who never thought he was gonna win or was a real rapper to begin with?

He knows they label played favorites in this situation to fuck him over or just looking for a way out of his deal.
 
Honestly if this the way UMG or Lucian get checked, I am not mad At Drake for doing this. This Drake Big Joker move lol. I don't respect this move but I understand. And maybe something good comes out of it all if he wins...

I think he knows how this makes him look, he has a core fam base that don't care and will still support him independently. He will be fine. But his rap image is forever tainted. Despite some saying he took on Lucian and etc etc.

DJs don’t control what gets played on the radio.

You might be able to get on a mix show ,but there’s no law against paying a DJ to play your music at live events.

Idk what Flex’s angle is here.

I’m sure the same DJs got money to play Drake too
