You know what throws me off about this show. This takes place thousands of years before the events of Dune yet the technology looks nearly the same lol

Desmond Hart is the most interesting character through 2 episodes and the mystery of what his endgame is in regards to his beef with the Bene Gesserit

I was thinking the same thing
I understand technology and social attire could be stagnant, especially after a long war
But 10,000 years later and NOTHING changed??

I always felt they were pushing it with Game of Thrones, with little to no leaps in human advancement.

It's no narrative killer, it's just how my brain works sometimes with certain story details

What's the point of showing her what really happened if you're just going to kill her and she can't give the message to the others?

He seemed to have struggled this time using his power. Wonder if it's because he had to control it and not let it just completely kill the person or maybe it's because the kid was just easier

Lmao at the shocked look on her face when the voice didn't work. Curious if the power to resist the voice was lost in the 10,000 year gap. I'm guessing the someone takes him out in the show and the power to resist the voice wasn't taught/passed down to others

I don't think I'd really care about this show if it wasn't for Desmond. It's only 2 episodes but I just don't really care about the sisterhood

Lila isn't dead yet if you watch previews for next episode

Intrigued as well about who Desmond really is

That Harkonnen-Altreides beef is everlasting. Flashbacks fleshed out the story of the two sisters and their family. Tula using spice and a thinking machine to bring Lila back? I'm sure there will be consequences regarding that.

I think the actor that plays Oscar Tully in House of the Dragon was in this episode.

Robert Baratheon too.. lol grumpy bastard

Well he didn’t last long

Sisterhood corrupt as hell

Desmond’s power is very interesting. Next episode seems like it’s his last though

I thought the first half of this episode was incredibly boring until Desmond started cooking them dudes. 2 more episodes left and I still don't have a clear idea what the endgame is

Can someone explain that ending? Which of the sisters is his mother?

Why did he hide the piece of cloth after the explosion?

It’s kind of funny. I think they have some elder sister in the young girls body but I just don’t care about that story

Tula. It's why the DNA reveal show he's Atreides and Harkonnen. And her reaction to that news kinda makes it obvious

I actually liked that penultimate episode. Let's see if they land the finale. Show has been OK up to this point, won't land in my top 10 shows of the year by any means
