FEATURED Lil Wayne Issues Warning To Kendrick Lamar

test
Ever since Wayne stopped writing shit down that nigga hasn't been able to to make music that means anything. He raps in double entendres but it's surface level. I love old Wayne but this nigga hasn't been refining his craft the last 10+ years.

Even if he was on game...on a personal level I don't like him. Nigga is a grown man that can't take accountability. The nigga stands for nothing (most of these celebrities and musicians do not stop putting them on a pedestal). His comments on BLM still make me sick (dumb fuck basically said because I'm rich black lives matter). Fuck Wayne.

Makes sense why Drake is his protege..... I guess wayne get a pass and ppl dont hold him accountable. And when you start separating the music artist from the person. And the real person is compared to the amped up public image to sell music

I mean maybe we not supposed to know the real artist.Does who they are or what they represent change the words or how you feel listening to the art?

As a music fan today it's hard not to consider who the person is outside the music. It's so hard for me to not picture sassy duck lips when listening to Drake.

I am sure many musical artists old and new would not be "liked" personality wise or what they stand for would turm ppl off.

But if Kendrick teaching us anything Duality is the nature of this place. And maybe two things can be true.

These artists aren't all that, but the creative shit they put out moves you.

love Wayne but he aint no cleared nobody in any beefs. iant neva seen Wayne go at nobody before. maybe some sneak disses and Birdman and Rabbit haha. Sit this one out pops dese YNS crazy!! and ready to crash out

Would Kendrick washed Wayne?
Wash? Probably not but I do think it won't be a cakewalk for either one

The question is can Wayne get disrespectful and not use a bunch of bars that imply disrespect

The challenge as I see it is can Kendrick roll out multiple songs like he did for Drake

Listen I love Drake , but you posting like a crazy bot on Akademiks stream. EDIT @toheeb27 been one posting like that...but the rest of what i say still applies

Kendrick not a surface /basic level writer. He is describing an emotion

And mad props to kendrick because he actually wrote and rap what he felt.

Most niggas can't even articulate they feelings let alone make it sound straight on a record.

If you cool with Wayne and team expressing they hurt feelings, wtf can't kendrick express his shit.

I feel Kendrick energy and where he coming from.

One of the more curious things about this whole battle was as much of a fan of battle rap as Drake is i thought that would have given him the advantage in constructing a diss. Wayne on the other hand would just be rambling. 2000s Wayne could've done it. 2024 Wayne would just have some random bar about sipping lean and snorting heroin
Drake problem is that he didn't take it seriously until Family Matters.

Drake fans problem is, they're the loud minority in rap. Most of the non rap niggas(especially since Dot gave people easter egg hunting bullshit so they can make content about), along with the rappity rap fans wanted Kendrick to win regardless how the songs came out.

He was always going be trailing and had to TKO that nigga to be crowned as the victor.

I think it's a lot more simple than this.

People of a certain age or fandom level can't be objective when it comes to Wayne. There are people that were saying Jay didn't want it with Wayne *Blank Stare*. People from the south and niggas over a certain age are automatic votes for Wayne whether he drops something phenomenal or Basura. Kendrick would have to have an undeniable scorched earth victory in order for people to deem him victor. What does that entail? fuck if i know but it ain't happening.

This was a sad ass revisionist read

I'm from the South and over a certain age and I don't automatically give Wayne a w

I get your larger point though

Not really.

Nobody gives a fuck about Lil Wayne just like nobody gives a fuck about Nicki Minaj or Gudda Gudda.

People mistake stan bases for actual Hip Hop fans that care about music.

Drake makes good mindless pop music for people that got their heartbroken via text message and decided to get ran through and for non-Black women to rap along and say nigga.

Lil Wayne is the goat for people that used to steal their mother's Xanax and doomscroll through Tumblr.

At the end of the day, these fanbases are mocked for being out of touch with the broader Hip Hop listening population. And corporations and the media side with actual Hip Hop fans because the corporations and the media wants to be respected by Hip Hop heads.

Kendrick could give Lil Wayne half a bar and send his ass to rehab.

It's no different than when Pusha T went at Drake and won and Pusha T suddenly was doing endorsement deals.
