Pit bulls get a bad rap

My uncle got a shih zu and has had her for like 13 years now. She's very possessive but she's never been aggressive towards people. But I do know smaller dogs like that are banned by alot of places because they can be aggressive.

The crazy thing about pittbulls is they're actually naturally very protective over children but people breeding them for fighting has made them far more aggressive than many are naturally.

Ours would launch herself at everyone she sees, barking the whole fuckin time. The times I took her for a walk were a serious test of my patience. The one and only thing that stopped her barking was a shock collar we got to train her ass. Even then, she would still launch herself at people or other dogs, get shocked, yelp in pain, then as soon as it stopped she was right back to barking again. Took a while but eventually she stopped, then my daughter "lost" the collar and within a month or so she was right back at it, barking at everything and every noise.

My Corso passed away on April. Finally. She was old as shit.

I’ve had a corso, a Pitt, a bulldog and a chow chow. All dope ass dogs for different reasons. Never had an issue with any of them.

I’m prolly done being a dog owner now though. Or at least for a loooooong time.

After my last dog died I said the same. Between buying food, grooming, vet visits… and I never wanted to see my kids broke up like that again.

But I ended up with another dog less than a year later, and it was like a level of depression that got lifted off my house that I didn’t even realize was hanging like that til it was gone.

I don’t think you can ever stop being a “dog person” unless one of them fuckers hurt your kids or somethin

I done had both and never had bad experiences wit either as far as them showing aggression towards me

now with other animals..? thats a different story.

We were raising chows when I was younger. Probably bred and had like 3-4 litters of them and we'd always keep atleast 2 off of each litter

those motherfuckers didnt gaf what they what went up against. They just wanted to kill some shit. We were raising goats at the same time and all those mfs became casualities.

My pits were good, they stayed in their own lane for the most part unless something came in their territory and most of the time it was these dumb ass cats or possums trying to risk it for the biscuit late night and eat they food while they slept.
you was raising goats???? i take it you from the country Dubbz?

i got a pitty mix ftom the shelter some years ago...... that dog was super loyal.... when a dog is grateful just to go to a loving home they will give their all to be the best dog a owner could have.

I personally feel chow-chow’s are the absolute worst.

They are wildly unpredictable and are incredibly untrustworthy.

You can’t leave your kids near them.

All you can do is chain them bear lions up to a short but wide oak tree with a thick ass chain and 8 feet of roaming length.
Co-sign about Chows. A Chow will fuck your ass up out of nowhere and they hate kids lol.

Back in the day you would see them everywhere terrorizing hoods. Some insurance companies would even insure your home if you owned one. We had two one of them was the best the other one didn't fuck with nobody but my dad. Got so bad that we had to get him up out of here.
