A lot of Philly fans only care about his MVP. They will claim that he never had a team around him or a good coach. Philly hasn't won shit with him. Period. I view him as a great player who should have been much greater but couldn't stay healthy. You can't blame injuries on a player but for this current injury I will choose to blame him. He chose a gold medal that absolutely does nothing for his legacy over rehab. That was very dumb and now it's gonna cost him another short season.

Gonna miss him when he's gone, but it's time to go.

I was thinking the same about the MVP

It will be used to prop up his career there but reality he never took his team deep in the playoffs, was constantly hurt throughout his career while having great talent around him for years

He’s really a failure of a superstar but I think it won’t be viewed that way because his era was the only time the Sixers were relevant for about a decade
 
The Sixers with a healthy Jimmy is not losing to the Hawks. That was the move that fucked them. Their best player wanted to keep Jimmy but they had to appease their 2nd best player because Jimmy was taking ball handling and playmaking duties away from Ben. Then Ben didn’t live up to his end of the bargain…

His best teammate was Jimmy Butler. They make a finals appearance with him.
