Embiid leaving after this season. This was a nice win, but this ain't sustainable long term. That Miami air gonna magically heal Joel's knee
This Mavs team is so much easier to root for. I can’t put my finger on why though.

He’s a “slashing” SG who can’t shoot or hit free throws well at all
He also doesn’t get to the line frequently enough
He also averages more TOs than assists
He doesn’t make teammates better and he’s a poor defender
What’s the appeal outside of athleticism?
Despite the athleticism and wingspan and height he grabs boards at the same rate as Desmond bane and less than guys like Tyler Herro and Christian Braun

GUILTY BY AFFILIATION
A lot of Philly fans only care about his MVP. They will claim that he never had a team around him or a good coach. Philly hasn't won shit with him. Period. I view him as a great player who should have been much greater but couldn't stay healthy. You can't blame injuries on a player but for this current injury I will choose to blame him. He chose a gold medal that absolutely does nothing for his legacy over rehab. That was very dumb and now it's gonna cost him another short season.
Gonna miss him when he's gone, but it's time to go.
