Pharrell literally is going to reach in his pocket and get his debit card out and see money he’ll recieve from the use of a song he’s on.

It’s not impossible that that was done as a way to break bread.
 
Idk why I dislike his voice so much on this…and I’m trying hard to at least appreciate the content because I do…it’s just his damn voice

Section 80 and GKMC had his best vocal performances and he had great projection. 2011-2015 was golden Kendrick..

Since 2017 he’s been on that chipmunk, squeaky, sedated, faux Prince shit and it irks my fucking nerves because he exacerbates it more and more

He's been leaning more and more into the traditional Westcoast sound. I think this is likely how he'll sound for the rest of his career. I think I'm used to it at this point.
