OUT NOW Kendrick Lamar - GNX

Added to Calendar: 11-22-24

I mean I can’t say I know every producer or ghost producer from every song.

I never looked into who produced that song
I respect it. It was a gem when I found out. And you can hear his vocals on the track.

Unbiased opinion........I gave it a listen while in my home office. It isn't great and it isn't terrible. 98% of this album will be forgot and only off the strength of calling Wayne's name will this get more than two spins.

It's a solid 3/5 off first listen. Heart 6 is the standout everything else is forgettable but tolerable.
I can respect this l. I might not agree but at least you didn't completely skip the album and just come here to talk shit about kendrick. That would be some bitch shit.

I kinda missed this controversy so I can’t say what he said exactly but in this video he either clarified that or backtracked on it

Basically he said he was talking about how they’re taught in Mexican LA homes and how it’s not just race it’s also gang politics but he said if his daughter is happy with a black dude that’s cool but he would prefer her mess with another Mexican .

But idk dude and just noticed him on vlad so I’m not taking up for him because idk what all or what else he might have said just posting what I found

Ofc he wants his daughter to date w/in his own race. Duh

Not bad overall, but far from the best album of the year....

Which is a realistic standard for Kendrick

I am not going to front like I'm Kendrick fan but this was decent at best. About to dip out in a few and give it the good ol whip test.

I think Kendrick is going to box himself in and only going to be known as the guy who uses another guy's name to be heard. He's a better artist than that but like I've been saying the dumb are really intrigued by the drumb or in dummy terms if he ain't dissing they ain't listening

That won't come from Kendrick. That's coming from his fans who due to the Drake beef decided to start using whether or not you like Kendrick as a measure for Blackness. The shit he explicitly says in his songs to not do.
