Yeah, this is definitely "we outside" music. I'm on Get It How You Live and that shit makes me wanna withdraw all my rent money from my account and throw it in the air.

Bump. So a thread about a beef that ended months ago gets to stay stickied, but bro couldn't get one more week? Y'all mods are some haters.

My bad, @Silverfoxx. I had to look thru my posts just to find this thread. I was working on the review but the draft got deleted. Bottom line, the album is fire. I see you got some merch up. I'm not a merch guy, but I'm digging that Tara Lives shirt. You only goin up from here, bro.

Appreciate it fam for your support bro. Which Act did you gravitate to the most ? The grind to be noticed especially in the algorithm/AI shit is a grind but I will control all I can control which is just to keep trying to make quality shit and try to get better with each project. Dropping a RnB project next month with some dope women artists and will start cooking up again after.

I appreciate your eccentricity and how it can mesh well within rap. I've seen you fight for that a lot. Calling something weird or crazy can be dismissive but you've embraced it

From the artwork to the intricacies of every layered track it says to me, this is hip hop and we should love all forms and genres of it.

In a world dominated by cookie cutter trends and homogenous ideas you went in the opposite direction and said I'll do my own thing. I respect and appreciated that. It's weird at times but it works

I think only someone who loves and enjoys music could make something like this. I hear the nola influences and those only with my surface understanding but it can still be appreciated by someone like me who may not actually get all of it.

I enjoyed this album thoroughly and will listen again. And when I do that I'll give a review for each record

I appreciate y'all for still listening to this shit. I know how fast time flies with info these days and how important it is to grab folks attention and I knew the risk with making a project like this so @Breezy_Kilroy @Lab Baby I appreciate y'all for having the patience and understanding for my artistic visions man.

I was aware of the risks of making like 7-8 minutes songs or music that's not tik Tok algorithm friendly but from a formulated standpoint art itself can be sacrificed for clicks or financial advantages. This is no diss towards folks who do it, it's just not something I want to do. I want to continue to keep art dangerous meaning free, bold, and thought provoking and just fun man. Being weird is exactly what the whole brand is about, finding comfort from the OGs like the Dungeon family, Wu Tang, TDE, Odd Future, Sun Ra, the Furious 5, ASAP, etc. I just miss that energy in art/music man. I ain't no hoe so I'll take the risks LMAO.

All of my music/art will not be like that though but if the art calls for it then it will. Really appreciate y'all man. It motivates me to keep going.

The 90s /early 2000s was a wild time. The Catman concept in this project was also based on my Dad who was terrorizing the streets when I was young. But for me I always looked at my life in New Orleans from a afro futurism standpoint. Indigo Baby project probably won't be one of my most popular projects because it's REALLY personal/and new Orleans which can isolate listens I get in Switzerland but imo it's one of my favorite projects I ever done. I'm proud of it man and I'll put it up there with some of the top releases in music to come out in 2024. IDC LMAO.
