I thought this chick was bullshittin' when she said something about this GenZ "silent walking" trend. That shit is forreal.

They also mentioned "earthing", which is nothing more than walking barefoot. GenZ always think they're discovering new shit. i.e. "processing your thoughts without distractions" is just "thinking", no need for a long ass new term for it.

I get what you're saying 100%. I guess I just give them a little grace because having lived through all this rapid changing over the past several decades, it's kinda easy to see how kids nowadays can feel so separated from shit that was completely normal back when we were coming up.

Like my mother broke my daughters' brains when she told them that they just got candy and fruit as gifts for Christmas and that she didn't have McDonalds until she was grown. My girls couldn't conceive of a reality where something as basic as candy could be a Christmas gift.
