Yeah it's real good like really really good but I'm not getting no Batman/Gotham/DC Vibes at all..bars

Sophia spent time at Arkham Penitentiary but that's it. I don't understand the direction they're going to make it just look like a regular mob series

Seems like he won't even really become the penguin until season 2

I think the bat symbol at the end tells he will be around if there's another season. All the death and a big explosion and the city's best detective not around looks bad.
 
There's no need for another season of penguin, especially if he's in the next movie.
 
If anything the next "season" will just highlight another character in that universe, it won't even be called penguin
