This a tough one, I want to say classic but then I see songs like We Ain't, No More Fun And Games. Hell that whole back end of the album was lackluster.

Classic for me, it was an album the West needed at the time...
I think Game was one of the last artists who had a lot of that old skool or traditional hype around a debut for months on end... He was on magazines, TV, mixtapes and blogs/forums etc
Feels like after him Soundcloud/indi rappers came around and artists with a hot song started appearing out of nowhere and dropped their albums a week or two later, then it was on to the next one...

given that this was the official west coast representative of g unit debut album at a time when fifty had the industry on lock,
and for it to have the singles it had to live up to the hype and make gunit look like the new age nwa ready to run rap for the next ten years

It’s very possible a lot of classic music came out in a 15 year stretch and then jn the last 15 years there was way less classic music being put out (not saying that happened but just saying it’s possible)
